Product Introduction
Our red prawns (also known as Spanish scarlet prawns / Carabineros) are wild-caught from deep open ocean. They are blast-frozen immediately on fishing vessels with ultra-low temperature flash-freezing technology to lock in ultimate freshness. Featuring striking bright red shells, oversized heads filled with rich prawn roe and thick, firm sweet flesh, they are premium seafood for sashimi, Japanese restaurants and high-end Western cuisine.
Key Features & Benefits
Wild Deep-Sea Caught with Rich Prawn Roe — Naturally grown in deep seawater, the prawn meat is dense, bouncy and naturally sweet with clean ocean flavor and zero muddy taste. The large heads contain abundant creamy roe that delivers intense seafood umami when sautéed for broth. The vivid scarlet shell creates stunning plating effects for banquets and fine dining.
Vessel IQF Quick Freezing, Sashimi-Grade Quality — Each prawn is cleaned, sorted and individually flash-frozen on board right after being caught to avoid freshness loss during onshore transit. Only a thin layer of ice glaze is applied for protection, no water injection, no chemical soaking and no weight fraud. It meets strict raw-eating standards for professional sashimi service.
Extremely Versatile for Global Cuisine — Raw preparation: sashimi, seafood cold salad. Western cooking: red prawn pasta, butter pan-seared, cheese baked, risotto, teppanyaki grilled prawns. Chinese cooking: garlic steamed, salt-baked, braised, seafood soup base. Perfect for home gourmet meals, restaurant menus and holiday feasts.
Handpicked Large Size & Easy Preparation — All prawns are manually selected for full intact bodies without broken limbs. Long frozen shelf life makes them easy for home stock-up. Simply thaw slowly, devein and trim before cooking with minimal effort.
Storage, Thawing & Cooking Guidelines
Storage: Keep continuously frozen at -18°C or below for up to 12 months. Shipped via full cold chain with insulated foam boxes and ice packs.
Thawing Method: Thaw gradually inside the refrigerator. Avoid long-time soaking in room-temperature water which causes tough texture and flavor loss.
Cooking Tip: Sauté prawn heads first to extract red oil for pasta sauce; blanch only 3-4 minutes in boiling water to prevent overcooking.
After-Sales Policy: For frozen perishable seafood, please inspect the parcel upon receipt. Full refund or replacement is available for severely thawed, deteriorated or damaged items with clear photos provided.
